National Coming Out day is a very important day in the LGBTQ2+ community. For those considering coming out for the first time NYX Cosmetics partnered with It Gets Better Canada to host a virtual safe space where people could connect with others who understand what they’re going through. It was a celebrity-studded event with prominent members of the LGBTQ2+ community who spoke with young people in various stages of coming out.

However, in order to create a truly virtual safe space where people could be themselves, we did the one thing you’re not supposed to do as marketers: we didn’t film it. No cameras. No recording. Just love and support.
